What David Dein would call "Irreconcilable Differences"

Jose Mourinho calls it "Mutual Consent". I too have quit like the self dubbed "Special One" from my clan, in probably the same fashion he did. Does anyone honestly believe Mourinho quit quietly?? I'd bet against that, furniture was probably flung around. His departure from Stamford Bridge is a reason to celebrate, since before him, Chelsea were nothing, and probably after him, they'll be nothing as well. Of course, now there will be no one to throw tantrums on the sidelines, break laptop screens, bypass UEFA match bans and sneak more dogs past immigrations.

I too dislodged myself from my clan in a similar fashion. I joined only because of Tim, and my first impressions of them weren't very good already. So finally, I decided I would exit, but while I was at it, spit out all that I thought was just dumb about it. I left a few constructive comments, all written on grenades. Tim thinks my fiery thread was unnecessary, but hey, whats going to happen?? Even if they lived near me, am I supposed to be scared of a bunch of nerds?? I could probably give the more muscular 18 year-old ones in real life a good run for their money.

Reasons why I left
---------------------
1. Their PKing (Player Killing) strategies as horrible, as well as the Pkers themselves. On my first trip with them, some guy wore metal armour to go maging. For the laymen, thats like wearing a fur coat to go swimming. And they let some stranger join the clan group. Judging by his stats, he could have killed a good number of people if he decided to backstab. Turned out he was a spy for another clan. They spend much of the trip camping at a deserted spot for an hour doing nothing, then getting decimated by a gang of level 100's in less than a minute.

2. Some of their members are real douche bags. One of them, Demongirl, is "socially deprived". Quoted from Timothy. Coming from a guy who exists only to play RuneScape and study, that gives a good idea of how sad she is. For months, she had a crush on Timothy, without ever seeing his face, then cried and whined when she found out he removed her from his friends list because she's such an annoying whore. She skips school to play RuneScape (Oh Sweet Mother Of Christ...), and has that Ryan Singh-ish ability of trying to get attention when in fact everyone just thinks you're an annoying bastard. Judging by the photo she posted, she looked like the girl in Hairspray, but not that fat. Too many jerks for me to list, and the laymen wouldn't understand it anyway.

3. Few people actually took the clan seriously. Plenty of noobs just join and never appear again.

4. They don't enforce clan rules well. The leader, Tiz, is a real life friend to Tim and a nice guy, but you see, thats the problem, he's too nice. He acts like he's running the UN, not a PKing clan.

-------------------------------------

And what's this?? I hear that some members share my views, though they didn't post it. Of course, they told me in private, and I'm not going to say. I could have toppled the entire social structure and torn the clan apart with certain secret information not known to all, but out of respect to Tim and Tiz, I will not flay the clan apart.

Anyway, its a good thing I quit, exams have finally arrived. I was pretty worried when I woke up with a sore throat, but I still got through the English paper. Wasn't exactly smooth sailing, but it was okay. I hope the teachers don't test out what I wrote in my essay though, I said the cineplex at the HDB hub was teeming with patrons, but in actual fact, its pretty deserted. Then again, this is a theory exam, and since all my reasons prove that theoretically business should be good, I think I'm safe. The campaign has not gotten off to a good start, but don't forget, United's worst start under Sir Alex resulted in them winning the Treble, a feat unrepeated by any club in the world.

Daze

As the third week of holidays begin, I began to realize I hadn't started any of my homework. Got started on my chem on Monday, which I just finished this morning, with a lot more still to go. Planning on calling up the rest of the group to try and get the Humanities done, I just excavated the rubrics from somewhere in my room. I lost plenty of vital worksheets in transit when I moved my things back home from my grandmother's house. To make matters worse, I think Sam still away (Canada I think). At least Bryant's back from church camp, should call on him later on.

Pushed Cooking and Fishing up to 80 and 78 respectively in an attempt to cook sharks and catch them faster, but at the rate I'm still burning them, I think I should stick to lobsters for now. Or I could get the cooking gauntlets from the Family Crest quest.

My mum forced my out of bed today to drag me to the doctor, convinced my cough was going to cause me to asphyxiate and drop dead on the playing field. Normally, I'm okay with visiting Dr Leong, mostly because he's really nice and up-to-date, despite the fact all his certs on his wall are all old, the oldest being an admittance to Mensa in 1986. I spent the whole time admiring his Apple Powerbook, until all of a sudden he proclaimed "I think he needs an injection". Thankfully, I didn't feel too much, though my arm feels rather numb, and I'm feeling rather drowsy.......zzzzz............

Don't you just love that freedom

Ah, the holidays. Beautiful times, despite the fact my parents are back. Days just float by, and one just wakes up at 10 or 11 in the morning..........

Went to Sam's place yesterday on the pretence of doing a project. Well, we did actually work on the Humanities article for half an hour or so, digging through newspapers. We've got a few articles for international, geography and recent events, but we can't remember what we were supposed to get for literature and history, and we don't have the rubrics. Bryant is in the capital of animae and sushi, so he's off the grid. As for Zhongxi, well, never mind. I didn't even know that he was in our group. Ms. Matthews dire warnings rings loudly again.....

Sam felt the best way to relieve our troubles was a few rounds of Gears. In the first match Sam decided to go with the Colonel Hoffman and I went with the Theron Guard. While Hoffman does look fancy with his jet black armour, it didn't do him much good in Gridlock. I camped out at the Longshot spawn, intending to try out sniping. Sam never gave me the chance to use it when he charged straight up with a Gnasher. Ordinarily this thing is Chainsaw Man's worst enemy, but by spamming the roll button, the Theron Guard leapt out of harm's way and countered quickly with a raised chainsaw. Old Hoffman didn't have a chance. Time and again we raced to the Longshot spawn, but this time Sam was more accurate with his Gnasher and the scoreboard showed 1-1 with pieces of Theron Guard rolling down the stairs in the background. I finally got to use the Longshot in the third round, but I soon learnt that I wasn't much of a head sifter. Standing up to fire at Sam, I took too long to aim, and soon my scope was filled with the smoke trail of a Boomshot round. 1-2

I caught Sam on a badly timed run twice, Colonel Hoffman being sawed on both occasions, thus resulting in my first ever multiplayer win. Sam looked mad enough to rip a phone book, and I lost the next 2 matches 3-0. We went on to campaign next, playing Act 2 with Lancers. We proved that the staple weapon of Gears is much more effective than just Torque Bows. Then again, I probably don't like the bows cause I never learnt how to fire one properly. Boltok pistols should be given more credit though, they aren't bad for mid-range firefights.

My preferred build of weapons would be something like

Boltok for the pistol
Lancer for short to mid-range firefights
Longshot for sifting heads at long range

Planning on doing Slug Menace so I can use proselyte armour, but the problem is one needs 30 runecraft to do it. I have never bothered raising runecraft, so its pretty low. Getting essence to train on is a pain too. I don't need pure essence, but that's all people sell.........

Sleepy?? Nah, doesn't work on me

Well, the school holidays have began, and I guess I have plenty to be thankful for. Decent results, my parents being away in Europe, and all the other things.....

Got the flu last Friday, so I've spent most of my time up here in my room. My brother and sister mainly occupy themselves and my grandfather's staying with us to watch over, so for once, I don't have to watch them making sure they don't wreck the house or something. Been spending most of my time up here "resting", if you can call 4 hour long shifts of DotA and Runescape resting. Half of the four medicines the doctor gave said might cause drowsiness, but I stayed up the whole night on Sunday. Went Tzhaar hunting with Tim and his friend in that time, ownage drops from those guys. I got an obby maul, Tim got a obby cape which he kindly donated to me (thanks man, really appreciate it), with only his poor friend getting nothing from that intimidating looking bunch. Four arms, and a three digit combat, but worth the risk.

After two days of intensive strength training I finally hit level 70 attack on Monday, which allows me to, at long last, use an Abyssal Whip. I went back to the Tzhaar caves to temper my new weapon, and though I could kill them easier, they weren't as generous this time. Reaching 70 attack also allowed me to enter the Warriors Guild. Worked my way up to the Black defender, just three more to go.

Finished the Horror from the Deep quest today to get the Saradomin prayer book since I already got page 1 and 2 from treasure trails. Just looking for pages 3 and 4 to complete it.....
